Possible symptoms
Below you will find a list with possible symptoms and a sequence of
solutions which are recommended in each respective case. All
symptoms refer to the CEREC Primescan / Primescan scanner.

Solution sequence

Scanner is not recognized by the user software.
L1: Restart user software and/or PC.
L3: Disconnect / plug in scanner cable
L8: Identify scanner as USB device.
L4: Start analysis with DrPrimescan.
L5: Test available licenses.
Optical impression with scanner is not possible in
the user software.

Scanner is not recognized by DrPrimescan.
L2: Disconnect PC from the power supply.
L1: Restart user software and/or PC.
L3: Disconnect / plug in scanner cable
L8: Identify scanner as USB device.
L19: Check (if possible) whether the supply board is
working.
L11: Replace supply board.
L15: Replace the scanner.

2D image quality inadequate:
● Tint
● Image too dark / too bright
