Analog inputs (PortC)
DAEnetIP3 has 8 analog inputs port. This port is called Port C. Each output line
has pull-down resistor 68K to GND (figure 77). The resolution of the used ADC is 10
bit. The reference voltage is 2.048VDC. The input voltage for each ADC channel is
from 0 up to 2.048V
– approx. 20mV/div.
Be careful, the inputs are connected
directly to the MCU pins. Incorrect connections or over-voltage may damage
the DAEnetIP3 controller! That's why it is recommend to use R1 resistor for
protection.

R1 resistor must be chosen in a way so there must be no more than 1mA input
current in case of short-cut or damaged sensor.
