Auto-feed (AF) models
Place documents into the document feeder.

EC9600i AF maximum documents = 30

Note
: Do not push documents past the check icon on the right
side of the document feeder in order to prevent document jams.

If you are required to do so, start the scanning process. For
example, click Scan on your payment application.

Swiping magnetic stripe cards
(MSR models)
1.
Place the card in the slot on the side of the scanner with the
stripe down and facing towards the body of the scanner.
2.
Swipe the card from front to back.
Imaging identification cards
The ID imager uses the same track as the document scanner, but
you insert ID cards at the back of the scanner. Insert the card into
the scanner so that the front of the ID card faces away from the
scanner. The ID imager scans both the front and back of the
identification card.
1.
Insert the identification card into the back of the scanner
track until you feel the scanner pinch the card.
The scanner pulls the card through the track.
2.
Remove the card from the front of the scanner track.
