Commissioning
8.1
Before you start
The solar power inverter must be correctly installed, see
Chapter 7 - Installation.
Information on operating the display is provided in
Chapter
5 - System description.
After starting for the first time and completion of the auto
-
matic self-test you are guided step-by-step through the ini-
tial commissioning procedure.
8.2
Initial commissioning procedure
An overview of available grids for 3.0 TL and 5.0 TL is
shown on table 9.1 in section 8.3.2.2. The basic commis-
sioning process can be accomplished quickly via the display
interface. For fine tuning grid settings the web interface is
recommended if your inverter has the ETHERNET option.
More information is given regarding this in Chapter 10 Set-
tings.

Basic commissioning
8.3.1 Brief overview of the commissioning steps

Power limitation is required for some country grids. Due
to the simple software set up you can quickly set the power
output installation parameters. Please check with the grid
authority and standard for required power limitations.
8.3.2 Detailed description of the commissioning
steps via the display interface
Check all connections and cables for damage and correct
seating. Correct the installation if necessary.
1. Switch on the DC switch.
2. The startup process of the solar power inverter begins.
3. After the startup process and the automatic self-test
the initial commissioning procedure of the solar power
inverter starts and the

menu is displayed.

If you set a power limit then you
must also fill out the label shown
above stating "The power of the
product has been power limited
..." and apply this label to the front
of the solar power inverter. Use a
waterproof pen for filling out this
information
► The power limitation is fixed after
setting. To adjust will require that
you get a PIN from Delta techni-
cal support team. See Chapter 10
Settings for more detail on making
changes.
The power limit will show on the display during start up
phase (boot). Please see display mesage below. For the
complete Start Up messages information, please see Chap-
ter 9.1.1 Start Up Messages. You can restart the inverter to
make the Start Up messages appear when you require this
information.
Limited Power
4.6 / 5.0 KW
Please note that under limited power are two power settings
shown. The first is the Max. Power that the installer can set
when needed. The second setting is the Power Limitation
described in this section.
8.3.2.4 Insulation
The default insulation setting is enabled. This will allow
ground monitoring. We recommend for safety reasons that
you do not adjust this setting. Press the Select button at
this step to accept the default and move into the date and
time setting.

Although the date and time can be set in the display inter-
face, it can also be adjusted at a later time in the Web Inter-
face if you have ETHERNET. More details can be found in
Chapter 10 - Settings.
