Commissioning

8.1

Before you start

The solar power inverter must be correctly installed, see

Chapter 7 - Installation.
Information on operating the display is provided in

Chapter

5 - System description.

After starting for the first time and completion of the auto

-

matic self-test you are guided step-by-step through the ini-
tial commissioning procedure.

8.2

Initial commissioning procedure

An overview of available grids for 3.0 TL and 5.0 TL is

shown on table 9.1 in section 8.3.2.2.  The basic commis-

sioning process can be accomplished quickly via the display

interface.  For fine tuning grid settings the web interface is

recommended if your inverter has the ETHERNET option.

More information is given regarding this in Chapter 10 Set-

tings.

Power Limitation Label

NOTE

If you set a power limit then you

must also fill out the label shown

above stating "The power of the

product has been power limited

..." and apply this label to the front

of the solar power inverter. Use a

waterproof pen for filling out this

information

► The power limitation is fixed after

setting.  To adjust will require that

you get a PIN from Delta techni-

cal support team.  See Chapter 10

Settings for more detail on making

changes.

The power limit will show on the display during start up

phase (boot).  Please see display mesage below.  For the

complete Start Up messages information, please see Chap-

ter 9.1.1 Start Up Messages.  You can restart the inverter to

make the Start Up messages appear when you require this

information.

Limited Power

4.6 / 5.0 KW

Please note that under limited power are two power settings

shown.  The first is the Max. Power that the installer can set

when needed.  The second setting is the Power Limitation

described in this section.

8.3.2.4  Insulation

The default insulation setting is enabled.  This will allow

ground monitoring.  We recommend for safety reasons that

you do not adjust this setting.  Press the Select button at

this step to accept the default and move into the date and
