EN
When multiple solar power inverters are connected to a
monitoring system via the RS485 interface, the termination
resistor in the
last solar power inverter in the bus must be
switched on.
7.3.4.2 PC Setup for Ethernet Connection to Inverter
ETHERNET
We recommend a point to point ethernet connection for fine-
tuning the installation settings of the inverter if your inverter
comes with this option. Once the basic commissioning is
done, then you can easily adjust such features as active
and reactive power with the Web Interface. Please see
Chapter 10 - Settings for more information.
If you have ETHERNET (optional) the inverter contains a
DHCP server which allocates the IP address to your laptop
For this you will need:
● Admin rights with security policies with Ad Hoc
connection allowed
● Disable Proxy
● IP mask : 255.255.0.0
Supported browsers for the Web Interface are :
Internet Explorer 8/9, Firefox(13.0.1), Google Chrome
(20.0.1132.47m), Apple Safari (5.1.7)

The three openings for the cable feed-through are designed
for cable diameters of 3.6 to 5.2 mm. Unused openings
must be closed using the plug shown.
7.3.4.1 RS485 interface (EIA485)
NOTE
► To ensure protection conforming to IP65
all unused connections and interfaces
must be closed using the covers on the
solar power inverter.
► Only the cables described below may
be used. Standard cables are not
permitted.
One or more solar power inverters can be connected to
a monitoring system via the RS485 interfaces. The two
RS485 interfaces are internally wired 1:1. Each RS485
interface can be used as an input or output.
