System Reset
The TI505 system reset is connected to the TMC 188/40 microprocessor reset. This allows the P/C
to reset the TMC 188/40. When system reset is active and P22 is installed, the TMC 188/40
processor is held in the reset state. When the TMC 188/40 is held in the reset state the 15
microsecond timer will disable the drive circuits.

NOTE:
It may be necessary to add a 220 ohm resistor between the interrogation pulse and common (pins E
and B for Temposonics® I) at the transducer. This reduces the amount of electrical noise in the
system.
For Temposonics® I and neuter Temposonics® II rods only:
Whenever possible, connect the transducer's 15 volts directly to the TMC 188/40. The MCM
includes current limiting resistors that protect the transducers.
