Privileged EXEC mode command clears messages from the internal logging buffer.

Syntax

Default Configuration

This command has no default configuration.

Privileged EXEC mode.

There are no user guidelines for this command.

Example

The following example clears messages from the internal syslog message logging buffer.

logging file

The

logging file

Global Configuration mode command limits syslog messages sent to the logging file

based on severity. Use the

form of this command to cancel the buffer.

— Limits the logging of messages to the buffer to a specified level:

emergencies, alerts

critical

errors, warnings

notifications, informational

debugging.
