On to indicate enclosure address zero (0).
Disk drive active
1 per disk module
slot
Green
Off when the module slot is empty or contains a filler module.
Flashing (mostly off) when the drive is powered up but not
spinning; this is a normal part of the spin

up sequence, occurring
during the spin-up delay of a slot.
Flashing (at a constant rate) when the disk drive is spinning up or
spinning down normally.
On when the drive is spinning but not handling any I/O activity (the
ready state).
Flashing (mostly on) when the disk drive is spinning and handling
I/O activity.
Disk drive fault
1 per disk module

On to indicate the disk module is faulty.
IP4700 enclosure power

Green
On when the IP4700 is powered up.
IP4700 enclosure fault
1
Amber
On when any fault condition exists; if the fault is not obvious from
another fault light on the front, look at the back of the IP4700.
Storage processor fan
pack fault

On when the storage processor fan pack is faulty (not visible with
fan pack cover on).

SPS fault

On when the SPS has an internal fault. The SPS may still be
able to run on line, but write caching cannot occur.
SPS replace battery
1 per SPS
Amber
On when the SPS battery pack can no longer support loads.
This LED stays active until the SPS completes a successful
power test.
SPS on battery
1 per SPS
Amber
On when the ac line power is no longer available, and the SPS
is supplying dc output power from its battery.
SPS on-line
1 per SPS
Green
On steady when the SPS is on and operating normally.
Flashing when the SPS is charging.
Link control card active
1 per link control
card
Green
On when the LCC is powered up.
