Checking and setting the recirculation slot
The setting screw A must be unscrewed manually, turning it anti-
clockwise until it stops (approximate value on the graduated slide
between 8 and 10).
If the NOx value has to be optimised owing to prevailing legislation,
proceed as follows:
1.
Set the recirculation slot using the setting screw A.
- To increase the recirculation slot R, turn the screw clockwise.
- To reduce the recirculation slot R, turn the screw anti-clockwise.
2. Check the setting by referring to the indication shown on the
graduated slide B.

The proportion of recirculation gases is dependent on the
opening in the recirculation slot.
The proportion of gas released exerts a direct influence on
the NOx level. The larger the opening in the slot, the lower
the NOx level but flame stability is impaired. Set the
opening in the recirculation slot in such a way as to obtain
as low a NOx level as possible with good flame stability.
