7. COMMUNICATION PROTOCOLS 

 

7.1. Ethernet 

 
The SCS1 smart camera presents a 100 Mb/s communication port that can be used for HOST PC and 
configuration interface communication. 
 
Please contact DATASENSOR for further technical specifications. 
 

7.2.  Serial protocols and digital inputs 

 
The SCS1 series offers three models presenting different communication protocols and supplementary 
digital inputs: 
 

1.  RS232 serial protocol 
2.  RS485 serial protocol 
3.  Digital input protocol
