1) Connect t he pr int er t o your PC using a ser ial cable
2) Launch t he NETir a CT configur at ion ut ilit y, and quer y ( connect ) t o t he pr int er , ( see sect ion
3.3 for m or e infor m at ion on NETir a CT) .

I t is r ecom m ended t hat t he configur at ion be saved befor e downloading fir m w ar e, and r est ored
w hen finished. Be sure t o check t he box labeled “ I nclude Sensor Calibr at ion Dat a on Open”
w hen r est or ing t he configurat ion.

Go t o t he Tools> Upgr ade> Fir m w ar e. Select t he binar y files ( BI N files) for each of t he Boot
files.
4) Check t he “ Select and Dow nload Boot 1 file: ” , “ Select and Dow nload Boot 2 file: ” and “ Er ase
Sy st em and/ or User Ar ea” box es and click send t o init iat e t he dow nload.

Be sur e only t hat only one com m unicat ion cable is connect ed t o t he pr int er befor e at t em pt ing
t he fir m w are upgr ade. Do not at t em pt t o send any ot her dat a or per form oper at ions via t he
fr ont panel when t he fir m war e is dow nloading.

Alw ays Check “ Er ase Syst em and/ or User Area” box unless ot her wise inst ruct ed.
