16-KEY KEYPAD ENABLE

The software has the capability to disable or enable the 16-key keyboard.

INTERKEY TIMEOUT

The 16-key keypad is organized like a cell phone, with multi-tap access to alpha characters on numeric keys.

In alphabetic mode (entered by

toggling the Shift key), the keys must be pressed once, twice, or more to obtain the desired letter. See page 153 for more information about the
keypad.

This command allows you to specify the time which occurs between a key press, and the confirmation of the letter by the scanner (when in
alpha mode). The

timeout can be configured in steps of 0,5 second.
