Contact start / stop
With the setting Contact start/stop, recording is started with one contact and stopped with
another contact.
NOTE
Start and stop can also be achieved with just one contact.
Depending on the contact (opener or closer), one of the two
signals must be inverted (check the invert signal checkbox).
Recording then runs when the contact is pressed and stops
again when you release the contact.
Settings

Select the Contact start/stop tab.

In the Start contact field select the contact for
starting recording.

In the Stop contact field select the contact for
stopping contact.
¾
Depending on the contact type (
„
opener“ or
„
closer“), check the appropriate invert signal
checkbox.

Click OK to apply your settings.

IR start / stopp
With the setting IR Start/Stop recording can be controlled through an external keyboard.
The receiver for the IR keyboard is connected to the IR port at the rear of the DIS.
This function is not yet supported.
10.2.6
Motion detection
In motion-dependent recording images are only recorded whenever there is a change in the
image.
IMPORTANT
To ensure that the system records with motion detection after
configuration the active checkbox must be checked.
