Lift Height Pre-Limit Mode
1) When the main body is powered on first, “FREE” is displayed on the top LCD. It is possible to
go to Height Pre-Limit Mode of Lift. This mode is used to prevent the flask and vapor duct
from being damaged by poor operation of the product.
The minimum height to prevent the evaporating flask and vapor duct from being damaged is
set already in line with Heating Bath’s size. Therefore, they do not go down to the height lower
than the set height.
2) If the knob is turned clockwise when FREE is displayed, the display value is changed in the
order of 3bL -> 5bL -> FREE. If turned counterclockwise, the display value is changed in the
reverse order. If Jog-Dial knob is pushed long at a proper display value, the value flickers and
is saved. After the product is turned off and then on, the set value is set the saved one.
(1) ‘FREE’ mode: Adjustable in the range of 0~200mm without height limit
(2) ‘3bL’ mode: based on the basic components ’2.5Lit Heating bath and 2Lit flask’
-. Pre-limit height: 45mm
(3) ‘5bL’ mode: based on the basic components ’5.5Lit Heating bath and 5Lit flask’
-. Pre-limit height: 60mm

User Height Pre-limit Mode
1) Aside from the default set ‘Free’, ‘3bL’, or ‘5bL’ mode, a user is able to set up the minimum
height limit.
2) By pushing and releasing mode button and Jog-Dial knob at the same time, it is possible to go
to Save Flask Height Mode.
However, in Locking mode, Jog-Dial knob does not work. Therefore, it is impossible to go to
Save Flask Height Mode.
