Description

The

disable clipaging

command disables pausing of the screen display when show command output

reaches the end of the page. The default setting is enabled.

Parameters

None.

You must have administrator privileges.

Purpose

The switch allows you manage the switch via Telnet based management software.

Use the command to enable Telnet and configure a port number.

Format

enable telnet {<tcp_port_number 1-65535>}

Description

The

enable telnet

command enables Telnet and configures port number.

Parameters

Description

tcp_port_number

The TCP port number. TCP ports are numbered between 1 and

65535. The “well-known” TCP port for the Telnet protocol is 23.

Restrictions

You must have administrator privileges.
