Description

To configure router advertisement related arguments.

Parameters

Description

The name of the interface.

ipif_name

router advertisement state.

state

Indicates the lifetime of the router as the default router

life_time

in second.

Indicates the amount of time that a node can consider

reachable_time

a neighboring node reachable after receiving a

reachability confirmation in millisecond.

Indicates the amount of time between

retrans_time

retransmissions of

router

advertisement message in

millisecond, and the router advertisement packet will

take it to host.

Indicate the default value of hop limit field in the IPv6

hop_limit

header for packets sent by hosts that receive this RA

message.

When set to enable, it indicates that hosts receiving

managed_flag

this RA must use a stateful address configuration

protocol to obtain address in the addition to the

addresses derived from the stateless address

configuration.

When set to enable, it indicates that hosts receiving

other_config_flag

this RA must use a stateful address configuration

protocol to obtain on-address configuration

information,.

The minimum time allowed between sending

min_rtr_adv_interval

unsolicited multicast Router Advertisements from

the interface, in seconds. MUST be no less than 3
