Warning
1. To guarantee the security of the person and the device, the DGS-8000
must be well-grounded. The grounding resistence shall be less than 1 Ω .
2. A service person shall check whether or not the socket-outlet from which
the equipment is to be powered provides a connection the building
protective earth. If not, the service person shall arrange for the installation
of a protective earthing conductor from the separate protective earthing
terminal to the protective earth wire in the building.
3. The socket-outlet shall be installed near the equipment and shall be
easily.
4. When installing the unit, always make the ground connection first and
disconnect it last.
5. The cross-sectional area of protective earthing conductor shall be at least
2.5mm2(12AWG).

Connecting the AC Power
Supply to the Power Module
Connect AC power cables according to the ID and position instruction on the 8000-1400AC
and 8000-2000AC panel of the AC power module.
3.9.1
Precautions
 Before connecting the power supply, you must verify that the external power supply
matches the power module installed with this equipment.
 Before connecting the power cable, be sure that the switch of the power module is at
the OFF position.
 The power cable with a standard 3-pin connector should be used for connection.
 After connecting the power cable, correctly lock the strip-protection button onto the
power cable.
 Be sure that the power cables connected are in good contact.
3.9.2
Simple Connection Steps
1. Insert the plug of the power cable into the power module.
2. Connect the other end of the power cable to the corresponding socket or connector.
Warning
When installing the unit, use 3-pin power supply cord. The cross-sectional
area of each pin is 1.5mm2 or 14AWG minimum.
