lldp receive

To enable a physical interface to receive LLDP message, use the lldp receive 
command in Interface Configuration mode. Use the no form of this command to 
disable receiving LLDP message.

lldp receive

no lldp receive

Syntax

This command has no arguments or keywords.

Default

LLDP is enabled on all supported interfaces.

Command Mode

Interface Configuration mode

Usage Guideline

This command is used to enable a physical interface to receive LLDP mes-
sage. When LLDP is not running (when the command 

no lldp run

 is issued 

on global configuration mode), the switch doesn't receive LLDP message.

Example
