clear running-config factory-defaults
Use this command to clear the system’s running configuration.
clear running-config factory-defaults

Usage Guideline
The user can enter the
clear running-config factory-defaults
command to
clear the system configuration retained in Dynamic RAM.
Before using the
clear running-config factory-defaults
command, save a
backup of the configuration using the
copy
command or upload a configuration
profile into the system. When the
clear running-config factory-defaults
command is entered, the system resets the running configuration with the factory
default settings.
Since the command clears all of system configuration settings including IP
parameters, any remote management applications will loose their connections.
Therefore, before proceeding, a confirmation should be applied. In addition, it is
suggested to reload a configuration file immediately after clearing the
configuration.
The
clear running-config
command clears all system configuration settings
including the MGMT-IP address which is set back to the factory default of
10.90.90.90/8.
