Monitoring:
This parameter controls a port mirroring function for traffic analysis purposes with a network sniffer (Wireshark, for example)
802.3ad aggregation:
Enable or disable the traffic aggregation over two Ethernet ports. Optical and Copper not must be mixed.
5.3.7. QOS - Quality of Service parameters
The CIP-ALL operates IEEE802.3ac and the DSCP IP header for traffic priority. It has four priority transmit queues per Ethernet port.
Scheduling:
The CIP-ALL controls four priority levels and two scheduling algorithms to serve the transmit queues.
Set the transmit queue scheduling mode:
- Weighted fair queue (Round robin) : each interface has a relative priority to transmit packets : Q3=8, Q2=4, Q1=2, Q0=1 (8 frames
from queue #3 are served while only 1 is served from queue #0)
- Strict : higher priority queues are served first till empty : first Q3, then Q2, Q1, Q0 (only Queue 3 is served till empty)
Port Configuration:
Set the default priority (corresponding to the VLAN802.1Q / Priority Port table.
