Caution: Incorrect insertion of the batteries will
prevent proper operation of the flash unit, and may
cause damage.
Attaching flash to the camera
1. Loosen the Lock Ring. Insert the Mounting Foot
of your flash into the camera's accessory shoe
clip. Tighten the flash with the Lock Ring.
2. Adjust your camera to the appropriate setting.
Most cameras can be set to program position. (See
your camera owner's manual for details on flash
synchronization.) When the flash is ready to fire, it
will automatically set your camera to the correct
shutter speed and a flash ready signal will appear
in the camera's viewfinder. (See your camera
owner's manual for details.)
ON/OFF switch and flash test operation
Slide ON/OFF Switch to the "ON" position. In a few
seconds the Ready Lamp should glow, indicating

discharges, then wait until the Ready Lamp glows
again.
