HOW TO PREPARE THE PATIENT
If the patient is wearing contact lenses, make sure that they have
been removed before applying the anesthetic drops.

Tell the patient to take a seat.

Apply a local anesthetic drop on the eye surface to be
examined.

Apply sodium fluorescein 0,5% on the eye surface to be
examined.

Ask the patient to put the chin on the chin cup and the
forehead against the forehead rest.

Verify the correct eyes position respectively to the shooting
channel.

Ask the patient to look towards the front and keep the eyes
open during the exam. If necessary use the fixation target to
help the patient to keep the eyes still.
