Replacing the pumping hose
5.5.1 Removing the old pumping hose
The hose can be removed by two different
methods, depending on conditions and location:
• by turning the rotor,
• by removal of one sliding shoe.
1. Switch off the pump and secure it against
switching on, disconnect suction and
pressure side from the pipeline system.
2. Place a clean container under the pump to
catch the lubricating fluid.

Before removing the pumping hose
allow the pump to cool down to
contact temperature.

5. Unscrew both connecting sockets complete
with retaining flange and hexagon tube nuts
from the pump housing (Fig. 20) and pull
both connecting sockets out of the pumping
hose.

4 Ventilation pipe
6. Then remove the ventilation pipe from
suction and pressure side (Fig. 21).
3. Unscrew plugs (2+3, Fig. 19) and let the
lubricating fluid run into the container.
4. Unscrew four cover screws (1, Fig. 19) and
remove pump cover and O-ring.
