Path name regex—a regular expression

Directory name—the directory name portion of the request URI. For example,

Filename prefix—the prefix of the filename portion of the request URI. For

Filename Suffix—the suffix of the filename portion of the request URI. For

Filename regex—a regular that can be used to match the filename portion of the
request URI.

Header regex—a regular expression that can be used to match any header.
6. Select the comparison operator for your match expression from the Relation list:

== The selected request content is equal to the specified value.
■
!= The selected request content is not equal to the specified value.
7. Specify the value that you want to compare the request content to in the Value field.
8. To specify a complex match expression, you can add additional expression statements:
a. Click the Continue button.
b. Select the Boolean operator you want to use to join the new expression. For
example, to match requests that meet the criteria specified in the previous
expression as well as the criteria in the current expression, select the AND
operator. To match requests that meet any of the specified criteria, use the OR
operator.

ular Expression Format” on page 105.
Note – Regular expression matching is many times more processing intensive than
matching with the built in request attributes. Whenever possible, you should use the
predefined request attributes.
