25. Maintenance and Cleaning

Servicing or repair may only be carried out by a specialist/specialist workshop. There are no
components on the inside of the product that need maintenance by you, this is why you should
never open it (apart from the described approach to insert or change the batteries, in these
instructions).
To clean the outside of the product, a dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient.



Do not press too hard on the display, as this may cause scratch marks or lead
to faulty display function.
Never use aggressive cleaning agents, alcohol or other chemical solutions as
the surface of the housing could be damaged (discolouration).

26. Handling

Take note of all the safety instructions in these operating instructions!

The product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children. It contains small
swallowable small parts, glass (display), as well as batteries.
The product must not be opened or taken apart (except for inserting/replacing batteries or
rechargeable batteries as described in these operating instructions).
None of the components inside the product are to be serviced by the user. Moreover, the
licence (CE) and warranty will lapse in such cases.
Do not drop the product, it will be damaged even if it falls from a low height.
Do not expose the product to the following unfavourable ambient conditions during operation:
- moisture
- extremely cold or hot temperatures
- direct sunlight
- dust or flammable gases, fumes or solvents
- strong vibrations
- strong magnetic fields such as near machines or loudspeakers
