If this is ignored, the result may be uncontrolled egress of water resulting in water damage to the building/
home. Therefore the instructions given in chapter 5 “INSTALLATION” and chapter 7 “MAINTENANCE”
must be strictly observed.

CONVERSIONS/CHANGES/SPARE PARTS

INTERRUPTION OF OPERATION
If the control sensor must be removed, the following instructions must always be fol-
lowed:

Protect the flange surfaces against damage! Damaged flange surfaces will no longer seal correctly. The
resulting escaping water can cause damage to the home and furnishings and equipment.
/ It must therefore be ensured that no dirt gets into the control sensor! When the control sensor is re-
connected this dirt can come into contact with the drinking water and be released into it. The health of
persons drinking contaminated water is put at risk.
/ Store the control sensor so it is free from frost! Frost can cause water confined in the hollow spaces of
the control sensor to freeze so that the control sensor may be so badly mechanically damaged that it
leaks at the operating pressure or can even burst. Escaping water can cause serious property damage
in the home. Moreover, persons in the vicinity of the control sensor may be injured by splintering hous-
ing parts.
/ When recommissioning the control sensor, proceed as with a new installation.
Before performing work on the control sensor that goes beyond pure operational
use, the control sensor must be depressurised!
Only original spare parts may be used!
Unauthorised conversions and changes are forbidden for safety reasons. These
can impair the function of the control sensor, leading to leaks and, in the worse
case, to bursting of the control sensor. The imprinted approval marks are only
valid if original spare parts are used.
