The software in the humidifier advises when maintenance is required.
Regular maintenance consists of:
l
Checking the humidifier to ensure it is in good condition.
l
"Replacing the Cylinder" on page 17 .
l
"Cleaning the Drain Valve and GFCI Plate" on page 19 .
l
"Cleaning the Fill Valve" on page 21 .
l
"Cleaning the Fill Cup" on page 22 .
Before you Start!
l
Review the warnings in this manual.
l
Drain and shut down the humidifier.
l
Use the external disconnect to remove power to the
unit.
l
Close the water supply valve.
l
Allow the unit to cool down.
l
Open the humidifier cabinet.

Recommended tools for maintenance:
l
Screwdrivers, Phillips (+) and flat-head (–)
l
Wrench, adjustable
l
Pliers, needle-nose
l
Small plastic brush or damp cloth (for cleaning).
Do
NOT use abrasive materials (ex. metallic bristles) or harsh cleaning agents.
Note: The cylinder may contain residual water and scale that may spill.
