WARNING!
The flame should not touch the sides of the pot. Otherwise, the handles will be scorched!
• Avoid lighting a burner when the pot is empty. An empty pot will heat very quickly and the bottom may be
deformed. Should this unintentionally occur, do not touch the pot; turn off the burner and allow it to cool.
Hot pots
• Avoid placing a hot pot on the control panel, the frame or any edge. The appliance could be damaged.
Salt, sugar, sand
• Salt, sugar or sand (e.g. from vegetables) may scratch the appliance’s surface. Do not use the cooktop as
a workbench or a storage space.
Hard and sharp objects
• Falling hard and sharp objects may damage various parts of the appliance. Avoid placing items above the
cooktop.
Food that has boiled over
• Sugar and food with a high sugar content affect the ceramic base. Use a glass scraper to remove boiled-over
food of this kind from the base immediately.
WARNING! The glass scraper is sharp.
Film and foil
• Aluminum foil and plastic pots can melt.
