6.6.3 RIP

To activate RIP for the router, select the

Enabled

radio button for

Global RIP Mode

To configure an individual interface, select the desired RIP version and operation,

followed by placing a check in the

Enabled

checkbox for the interface.

Click

Save/Apply

to save the configuration and to start or stop RIP (based upon the

Global RIP mode selected).

6.7 DNS

6.7.1 DNS

Server

Enable Automatic Assigned DNS

checkbox is selected, this router will accept

the first received DNS assignment from one of the PPPoA, PPPoE or MER (DHCP
enabled) PVC(s) during the connection establishment. If the checkbox is not

selected, enter the primary and optional secondary DNS server IP addresses. Click
the

Save

button to save the new configuration. You must reboot the router to make

the new configuration effective.
