Removing the Power Supply

Disassembly

Sequence

Power
Supply

Processor

Removing the Power Supply

Perform the
preparation
procedures.

Remove
the hood.

Move the
air baffle
out of the
way.

Disconnect
the power
cables from
the

diskette

drive

hard

drive, and
CD/DVD
drive cables

Disconnect

the power

supply

cable from

the system

board.

Remove

the four

screws that

hold the

power

supply onto

the rear

wall of the

chassis.

Slide the

power

supply back

and lift it

out of the

chassis.

NOTE:

The
adhesive
material
that holds
the air
baffle in
place can
only be
used
once. Do
not
attempt to
remove or
reuse te
air baffle
that was
originally
installed
in the
unit.

End of

sequence. To

replace the

power supply,

reverse this

procedure.
