Power Cord Requirements

Removal and Replacement

Removing the Drive Cage

Disassembly

Sequence

Drive Cage

Processor

All the mass

storage

devices are

secured in a

drive cage

within the

chassis. You

will need to

remove the

drive cage to

remove or

replace any of

the mass

storage

devices in the

computer. To

remove the

drive cage,

complete the

following

steps:

Perform the
preparation
procedures.

Remove
the hood.

Move the
air baffle
out of the
way.

Disconnect

the

diskette

cd/dvd,
and hard
drive

cables.

Remove

the three

screws

from the

drive cage,

slide the

drive cage

back, and

lift it up out

of the

chassis

End of

sequence. To

replace the

drive cage,

reverse this

procedure.
