paragraph.
• The nominal pressure of the oil pipes must be at least equal to the maximum pressure of the hydraulic
motor; the pipes must be covered with suitable protective sheaths.
• The hydraulic system must be suitable for working with a continuous load.
• The type and flow rate of the hydraulic system must be suitable for the hydraulic motor being used.
• The hydraulic circuit must be protected by a suitable device that does not allow the maximum pressure
of the hydraulic motor to be exceeded.
CAUTION
• To reduce the heat generated, the oil pipes must be at least 1/2”; they must be at least 3/4” for lengths
of over 2.5m/8.2 ft.

• Follow the connection instructions shown in the “
SPECIFICATIONS AND TECHNICAL DATA
”
paragraph.
• The suction pipes must have a nominal pressure equal to 5 bar (73 psi).
• The delivery pipes must have a nominal pressure not below max. motor pump pressure.
• Do not tighten the suction and delivery fittings to a torque of more than 5 Nm (45 lbf in).
• All the pipes must be firmly fastened with clamps to the respective fittings.
• The pipe material must be compatible with the fluids used.
• Make sure that the pipes do not come into contact with sharp edges.
For the hydraulic connections please refer to Fig. 2 where a possible machine with the motor pump
integrated is schematised.
Water drainage/air bleeder plugs (7) are available for each of the four possible pump positions.
By installing a bleeder line (b), connected to the top plug (7), (a 1/4” pipe is recommended) you
avoid air being trapped and the pump can prime easily. The small flow of liquid that returns to the
tank during operation is negligible. Connection of the bleeder line to the tank must be at the top
of the tank (v), above the level of the liquid.
The motor pump suction and delivery connections must take into account the usable hose-end
fittings as shown in the following table:
SucTiOn
DEliVERY
Straight or curved Ø 60 hose-end fitting
Straight or curved Ø 45 hose-end fitting
Straight or curved Ø 50 hose-end fitting
Minimise blockages on the delivery circuit.
A filter, of an adequate size, must be fitted on the delivery side of the motor pump. Contact the
Manufacturer in case of doubts.
CAUTION
• The suction and delivery pipes must have the same inside diameter as the outside diameter of their
fittings.
• The suction pipes
must not present any blockages
and avoid routes that would create bends where
air could be trapped: it would be best if the suction pipe descends directly from the tank to pump
suction.
• Do not use metal pipes to perform the suction and delivery connections.
• The suction pipes must be as short as possible.
• Make sure that any residues of the materials used to seal the suction and delivery fittings do not get
inside the motor pump and/or the pipes.
