Shutting Down the PLT 60
Follow the instructions below to shut down the PLT 60:
Always remove any remaining dry ice from the hopper if shutting down
the PLT 60 for more than 15 minutes to prevent the internal mechanics
and/or nozzle from freezing.
1. Using a plastic scoop, remove any unused ice from the hopper then close the lid.
CAUTION Be careful to avoid coming into contact with the doser at the bottom of the
hopper
2. On the applicator:
a. Press the air and dry ice button (II) to activate (green light on).
b. Pull the trigger to blast for 10 seconds.
c. After blasting, press the air button (I) again to deactivate (blue light off). This should
also deactivate the applicator.
d. Remove nozzle from applicator
CAUTION Do not touch nozzle with bare hands during or immediately after
use. Always wear protective gloves
