3. If a switch does not work as stated in step 2, replace switch.
4. If a switch does work as stated in step 2 and the joystick still does not work, check the following items:
– Fuse
– Joystick ON/OFF switch
– Accessory relay
– Control valves. See Control Valves on page 19-19.
– Continuity of the wires involved
– Key switch

1. Set the joystick ON/OFF switch to OFF and remove both seats.
2. Disconnect battery. See Disconnecting the Battery – Gasoline/Diesel Vehicles, Section 1, Page 1-3.
3. Cut the wire tie securing joystick harness to chassis (Figure 19-22, Page 19-11) .
4. Remove four screws securing control box cover/joystick assembly and pull assembly out enough to access the
underside of joystick
(Figure 19-21, Page 19-11) .
