The instructions for use of this device consist of a general instruction, a specific
instruction of connectors and quickdraws and of the accessory instruction of the

TRICKY ACCESSORY INSTRUCTIONS.
This note contains the necessary informa-
tion for a correct use of the following product/s: Tricky system.
1) FIELD OF APPLICATION.
Auxiliary system for climbing that allows the carabiner
to be easily clipped into a far anchor, otherwise out of reach.
Attention!
The Tricky
system is not a quickdraw for progression, but a useful device for aid climbing:
to progress beyond the anchor it is necessary to replace it with a quickdraw for
progression.
Attention!
The carabiner and the sling constituting the Tricky system
are respectively certified according to the EN 12275-B and EN 566 standards,
whose indications are showed in the specific instructions attached to the product.
2) NOMENCLATURE.
(Fig. 3). A) Carabiner. B) Gate. C) Lever (
Tricky Lever
). D)

3) MARKING.
Numbers/letters without caption: refer to the legend in the general
instructions (paragraph 5).
3.1 – General
(Fig. 2). Indications: 1; 2; 4; 7; 11; 12; 15.
3.2 – Traceability
(Fig. 2). Indications: T2; T8.
4) INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE.
4.1 – Opening and locking of the lever.
With the index finger open the connector
gate (Fig. 5.1) and with the thumb, simultaneously lower the
Tricky Lever
(Fig. 5.2)
until it is hooked onto the connector gate (Fig. 5.3), which will then be kept in the
open position (Fig. 5.4).
4.2 – Connection to the anchor.
Reach the anchor (Fig. 6.1), insert the Tricky
system into it (Fig. 6.2) and load it downwards, so that the connector gate is
automatically released and closes correctly (Fig. 6.3).
5) HOW TO USE.
Below are the correct modes of use of the Tricky system previously connected to
the anchor.
5.1 – Use in aid climb.
By inserting the hand into the loop handle (F)
it is possible to exert a traction on the Tricky system in order to proceed
with the insertion of a quickdraw into the anchor, connect the rope to
it and suspend on the quickdraw itself (Fig. 6.4-6.5). For the progres-
sion beyond the anchor it is necessary to remove the Tricky system from it.
5.2 – Use in suspension.
Insert a quickdraw into the Tricky system loop handle (F),
connect the rope to it and suspend on it (Fig. 6.5). For the progression beyond
the anchor, place another quickdraw into the anchor, connect the rope to it and
remove the previously installed Tricky system.
Attention!
When being suspended
on the Tricky system it is mandatory to always remain below the anchor point (Fig.
8.1) and not to progress beyond it.
Attention!
Do not use the Tricky system as a
regular quickdraw for progression (Fig. 8.5).
5.3 – Transport.
The Tricky system can be easily carried on the harness by folding
it back on itself (Fig. 9).
