Upgrading The Computer

Upgrading the Device in the Optical Device Bay 6 - 11

Use a screwdriver to carefully push the CD/DVD device assembly out of the
computer at point

Insert the new device and carefully slide it into the computer (the device only
fits one way). DO NOT FORCE IT; the screw holes should line up.

Replace the memory socket cover (be careful with the fan cable) and the

screws (see

Figure 6 - 7

Restart the computer to allow it to automatically detect the new device.
