INSTALL ADDITIONAL END WALL FRAMING
Additional 2" x 2" x 96" square tubing has been included
for the vertical frame members of the end wall. These
tubes when installed provide additional support for the end
panels.
The positions of these remaining frame members depends
on the end panel and the door openings in those end
panels.
Use the end panel at each end as a guide when installing
the remaining end wall frame members.
ATTENTION:
During the installation of these final end wall
frame members, it may be necessary to remove some of
the fabric clips to install the band clamps in the desired
locations. These band clamps are used to secure the top of
each vertical end wall frame tube to the end rafter.
Use these parts when installing the end wall verticals:
QH1330 variable angle brackets (6)
2" x 2" x 96" square tubing
Tek screws
Square-to-round tube connect bracket (#104074)
Carriage bolt (#FAH320) and nut (#FALB32B)
QH1402 band clamps
Consult the following diagrams and steps to install the final
vertical end wall frame members:
Determine where you want to install the vertical end
wall frame tubes.
Consider how the shelter will be used and the location
of the doors when installing these vertical tubes.
Vertical frame members work best for additional
support when placed along the vertical zippers of a end
panel when possible.
Consult the following diagrams to attach the 2" x 2"
tubes to the base rail and end rafter.
NOTE:
Cut the 2" x 2" tubes to length if needed.
Once the vertical end frame members are installed,
continue with the installation of the main cover.

End frame above is used as an example only. The positions of the
vertical frame members will vary and depends on application, end
panel design, and location of the zippered doors.
The diagram shows one possible location of the frame members
for a pedestrian door. Larger zippered doors will require different
locations.
End panel is not shown in the above diagram. Frame may differ
from actual end wall in design. Ratchets are installed later.
Consult the diagrams in the Quick Start section of these
instructions for additional details.
NOTE:
Loosen the top of the end panel (if needed) to install the
band clamps around the end rafter and then reinstall the fabric
clips.
Use the QH1330 brackets to attach the vertical frame tubes to the
base rail and to attach the header between the tubes (if used).
