INSTALL THE END FRAME BASE RAIL

Refer to the end frame diagrams (Quick Start section) for 
connection details. The materials and parts needed to 
assemble the end wall frame include:

2" x 2" x 96" square tube (#104076)

Square tube connector (#104628)

Band clamps (#QH1404)

Square-to-round tube connect bracket (#104074)

Carriage bolt (#FAH320) and nut (#FALB32B)

Tek Screws (#FA4482B)

Continue with the following steps to assemble the end wall 
frame.

Install a band clamp around each ground post of the 
end rafter at one end of the frame.

NOTE:

 Verify that the correct band clamp is used for 

the ground post and position the clamp as shown 
above. 

View shows rail as seen from outside the frame.

Take two 96" square tubes and connect these using 
Tek screws and a 104628 square tube connector.

Measure the distance between the band clamps 
installed in Step 1 and cut the assembled base rail to 
the required length (if needed). 

See note that follows 

before cutting the base rail.

Square-to-Round 
Tube Connect Bracket 
(#104074)

NOTE:

 When cutting the base rail to the proper length, 

remember to subtract 1-3/4" for each of the square-to-
round tube brackets (#104074), which are attached to 
the ends of the base rail tube.

Once the base rail is cut to the correct length (if 
needed), use a 104074 bracket as a template to mark 
the bracket hole location on the base rail at each end.

Drill a 5/16" hole through the base rail for the 104074 
brackets and attach the brackets to the base rail as 
shown above using the 5/16" carriage bolts and nuts.

Position the base rail on the ground between the legs 
of the end rafter and temporarily secure the tube to the 
band clamps on the ground posts as shown.  
 
This base rail will be directly below the end rafter. 

Do 

not tighten the band clamp bolts at this time

. The base 

rail must remain loose for the installation of the end 
panel.

Repeat the steps to assemble and install the base rail 
for the remaining end wall.
