Enter the module configuration commands as indicated above.

Type

logout

and then press

Enter

to exit the session.

Remove the serial cable. It is no longer required.

To Set Up a Telnet Session with the ICIM

Using a Category 5 Ethernet (Cat5) cable, connect the ICIM front panel Ethernet

port to your local network.

Open a command prompt window and verify connectivity by pinging the ICIM's

IP address. For example:

C:\> ping 172.18.50.100
