Configuring Polycom IP Phones
Make a note of the MAC address for each phone that you are installing and who owns that
phone. You will need this information for programming the system.
Adding Polycom IP phone to your system
When you plug a new Polycom phone into your network the phone will automatically add
itself to your system. Please go to the User Interface, Phone tab and you will see the newly
added phone listed as <Auto Discovered> with the next extension assigned to it. To make
this phone work you will need to rename it and hit the Deploy New Settings Button.
Configuration
After setting the phone up in the User Interface plug the Polycom IP series phone into the
network and if needed plug the AC power supply in. Polycom IP series phones will
automatically locate the PBX server and download their configuration without any further
input.
