9.3.4.2 Network function
The network function serves to transmit the files recorded in the PLC (CF card) to the PC
by means of the network connectivity.
Connect the PLC (connection IF2) and the PC with an Ethernet cable to the same net-
work. The PLC and the PC receive their respective IP address from a DCHP server avail-
able in the network. If it is still necessary to set fix IP addresses, then do it on the opera-
tion panel and on the PC.

Only the last two digits of the IP address for the PC and the PLC differ from each other for
the subnet mask "255.255.255.0". The three other digits remain the same for both devic-
es.
Afterwards "local user" and an "folder sharing" shall be created.
Carry out the following steps to create a local user (Windows 7):

Carry out the following steps to create a folder sharing (Windows 7):
