Starting the compressor

Position of oil sight glass and filler plug

Before starting, the oil level sight glass (SG) should be between 1/4 and 3/4 full.

Switch on the voltage.

Open air outlet valve.

4

Push the start button (6). The motor starts running after 25 seconds.
On compressors with a star-delta starter, the drive motor switches over from star to
delta 10 seconds after starting.
The maximum number of motor starts must be limited to 20 per hour.
It is strongly recommended to operate the compressor with a load factor of more than
10% to avoid condensate in the oil.
