GENERATING SYSTEM GENERAL DESCRIPTION
(NON-INTEGRAL TYPE SYSTEM)
The b a sic charging sy ste m components include
the battery, the se lf-r e c tify in g alternating current
generator, the voltage regulator, and interconnect­
ing w iring.
An indicator lamp (tell-ta le) which ligh ts when
th ere is a malfunction within the charging sy stem
is used on ste e l tilt cab m odels. An am m eter or
voltm eter type charge indicator is available on a ll
v eh icles covered by this supplem ent.
Figure 1 illu str a te s a schem atic diagram of
the generating sy ste m used on v eh icles equipped
with the two-unit type voltage regulator. The left
view applies to v eh ic les equipped with the 1119515
regulator and the right view applies to v eh icle s
equipped with the 1119507 type regulator.

with the 1116374 tra n sisto rized type regulator and
figure 3 illu stra te s a sch em atic diagram of the
