6. Switching ON/OFF
6. 1 Switching On/Off the Touch control (TC)
After connecting to the mains, the TC unit takes 1 second to prepare for operation.
After a reset each lamp of the bar graph displays (17) is lighted for 0,2 sec from left
to right in sequential order. After 2 sec the display is turn off. After that, the control unit
remains in OFF mode.
Error or heat signals are indicated by the Timer Display (20), if necessary.
6. 2 Automatic switch Off
The TC switches from Power ON to OFF after 10 sec. in case no cooking zone is
activated or a select key is pressed during that time.
In case of a selected cooking zone (with cooking stage is “0“), this Auto Power off
time is composed of a 10 sec deselection time and 10 sec Power off time.
6.3 ON/OFF switching of Hob
By pressing the ON/OFF key for 1 sec (key no. 1) the Touch Control changes from
OFF mode into standby mode emitting a short buzzing signal. Then the On/Off
status LED (LED22) is statically on.
If no cooking level related key is touched within the 10 sec after activating the
standby mode, the Touch Control unit changes back into OFF mode.
When the hob is in activated or in standby mode, the hob can be switched into
OFF mode at any time by simply touching the ON/OFF key.
The Touch Control unit can still be switched off, even though the Key-Lock function
had been activated.
