13. Operating the timer
13.1 Basics

The timer function module provides a timer for each of both cooking zones of a
Touch Control.

This can be implemented as cooking zone timer. The three 7-segment
displays serve as displays of the time.
13.2 Setting timer

Touching a timer key (13) to select timer mode.

If the timer has been switched off, the next pressing of the timer key will activate the
first timer mode according to the operation sequence.

13.3 Timer display

Whether a timer is programmed to control a cooking zone, it is indicated by
Timer indicator LED (19).

A timer LED flashing in accordance to scheme 1 signalises that the value of the 7-
segment displays refers to the timer and can be edited.

A statically shining timer indicator LED means that the relevant timer had
been programmed and that its countdown is running. The remaining time is shown
on the 7-segment displays.

When the timer is being programmed/paused, the 7segment statically display the
time value of the timer (the dot on 7segment 20 is flashed).
