13.5 Switching off an active timer:
-
The setting value of a timer may –active mode – be modified via the plus or minus
key any time after selection.
-
The timer is disconnected by using the minus keys for setting “0.00“ or by pressing
the minutes tens minus key and minutes ones minus key at once and
simultaneously to reset to “0.00“.
-
If setting the timer directly to “0.00“, the corresponding cooking zone is still working.
-
Change timer mode only when timer “0.00“.
-
Timer will be off when the related cooking zone is off or in level 0.

14. Pot Detection of induction cooking
The pot detection (pan identification function) is automatically activated by selecting
a cooking zone (cooking stage is set) and takes approx. 2.5 sec to identify wether a
pan is on the cooking zone.
In case of no pan or not suitable pan can be identified by the system, a symbol “no
pan” is indicated on the corresponding cooking zone display.
The pot detection function time limitation is 10 minutes.
15. Power reduction in case of overheating
15.1 Basics
In order to protect the electronics inside the hob from a possible damage by
overheating (Tu >= 105 °C Touch Control inside housing) a temperature sensor had
been implemented on the Touch Control. The sensor on the logic board is located
closely to the controller. All cooking zones are cut off in case of overheating.
15.2 Overheat control for induction cooking zones
In principle, the induction works intrinsically safe. The induction electronics provide
temperature sensors at each cooking zone being located below the glass ceramic
