9. Press and hold the ignition switch in the “START” position for
up to 5 seconds or until started.
NOTICE
If the engine is cranked longer than 5 seconds, the engine can
flood and will not start.
10. If engine does not start, wait 10 seconds and repeat step 9.
11. When the engine starts, turn the EZ Start dial to the “LPG/NG
RUN” position if in the “LPG/NG CHOKE” position.
12. Plug in devices.
Manual Start:
7. Pull the recoil cord 2 to 3 times.
8. Turn the EZ Start dial to the “LPG/NG RUN” position.
9. Pull the recoil cord until started.
10. When the engine starts, turn the EZ Start dial to the “LPG/NG
RUN” position if in the “LPG/NG CHOKE” position.
11. Plug in devices.
NOTICE
If the recoil cord is pulled more than 3 times in the “LPG/NG
CHOKE” position, the engine can flood and will not start.
Battery
NOTICE
The supplied 12V battery does re-charge while the engine
is running. It is also recommended that the battery be fully
charged at least once per month or maintained with a trickle
charger or battery maintainer (not included).
Connecting Electrical Loads
Let the engine stabilize and warm up for a few minutes after
starting.
Plug in and turn on the desired 120 or 240 (if applicable) Volt AC
single phase, 60 Hz electrical loads.

DO NOT connect 3-phase loads to the generator.

DO NOT overload the generator.

Use only a high quality, insulated, compatible (3-wire or
4-wire) grounded cord set rated equal to or greater (volts and
amps) than the receptacle plugging into.
