Electrical starting system,overriding clutch
Note:
•
Check and confirm battery is in good status
before inspection.
•
In case of faulty starting, check each brake
switch and starter auxiliary relay. (Chapter 16).
Keep ignition switch in the position.
When holding front brake or rear brake, make sure
there is battery voltage between light green/brown(+)
and frame earthing wire.
If there are any abnormals in the above inspection,
check ignition switch, brake switch, main fuse (15A),
sub-fuse (10A),side sensor,ECU. If all these items are
normal, replace starter auxiliary relay.
Capability of starter auxiliary relay
Remove starter auxiliary relay,measure the resistance
between 2 ends of starter auxiliary relayloop with
multimeter.

90-100
Implement 12V voltage between 2 ends of starter aux-
iliary relay loop, A.B should be connected.If not, re-
place starter auxiliary relay.
Remove starter auxiliary relay.
Without 12V voltage in 2 ends of starter auxiliary re-
lay loop, A.B should not be connected.If not, replace
starter auxiliary relay.
