Battery inspection and maintenance

]

When the motorcycle is not used for a long period, the battery should be removed from the motorcycle to
be charged and stored. It should be charged periodically. To remove the battery, disconnect the negative

cable

first.

Clean the battery positive

and negative

pole periodically. Install positive

cable first. Then

negative

cable

And make sure the cable not getting loose. The positive and negative pole cannot be

opposite connection

Use the same type and size when replacing the battery

Fuse replacement

]

The rated current of the main fuse is 30A. It’s located in the fuse box behind the battery. Sub fuse box

is located below the rear seat. The functions are as shown in Pic 24.

Always turn off the ignition switch

before the inspection or replacement

fuse to prevent a short circuit

Never

use a fuse with different rated current

with the original one. Otherwise,

electrical system could be damaged

or the vehicle could be burnt. It’s also

possible that the headlight is not

working or engine is unable to run at

night or during operation.

If the fuse is blown frequently, it indicates that there is a short circuit or overload in the circuit . Go to
CFMOTO service station for help.
To replace a fuse, simply remove the old fuse and install new fuse with the same rating.
