 Throttle cable inspection

7.5 Throttle grip inspection and adjustment

Throttle cable inspection

]

1. Turn the handlebar from left maximum to right maximum to check if

it’s normal and if the stopper is reliable.

2. Open and close the throttle grip through the entire travel to check if

it’s free of binding.

3. Inspect the throttle cable from the throttle grip to the throttle body to

check it’s free of binding and whether good conditions.

Throttle grip adjustment

1. The free play of throttle grip is

：2mm～6mm；

2. Throttle grip free play can be fine tuned by the the upper adjuster. A certain travel can be adjusted by
the lower adjustment nut (connection between throttle body and throttle cable).

3. When fine-tune is made, at first you should release the lock nut

 in upper adjusting screw tube , then

turn the upper adjustment screw tube

 to adjust it.

4. To fine tune the throttle grip free play, loosen the locking nut

 at first, then adjust the free play to 2mm~

6mm.

NOTE

1.

If the throttle cable is routed improperly, re-install it correctly.

2.

If the throttle cable is broken, binding or cannot return, replace the throttle cable.
